Sunday thoughts

  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. Isaiah 1:27 find this quote to really correlates what's going on in the world today where people are turning away from religion and yet still pointing fingers. They're blaming the immigrants they're blaming the people who are separated from their kids and that they're not loving them the way that God has taught us to love people and I just wish that God would surely bring his spirit and his grace

Hard questions

Tonight at bedtime Liam started crying. Big fat tears. And then he said, Mama I don't know what I'll do when you die. How am I supposed to live without my mommy hugging me and kissing me everyday?" My heart shattered. Sweet boy. I told him that our love is strong enough to find each other in heaven. He asked me "what if I get lost and just die?" I told him I would never lose him. He said "Just hold my hand okay and never let me go!", wailing as he talked. I promised him I would always hold onto him, that I would do my best to protect him and keep him safe. I told him he wouldn't die until he was an old man. That we would be together for a long time and that when we die we will be together then too. He said "I hope so because you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You're my miracle".  He fell asleep praying and sniffling, asking Jesus to watch over his mommy and his daddy. My poor, sweet sensitive boy...
