Samuel at one

Samuel is one year old I can not believe it! Samuel is a generally very happy and laid back baby he loves his bottles and he loves Liam.  He loves puffs and yogurt melts from the store.  He loves to be outside and loves to crawl around in the grass! Sometimes he cries when we come back inside.  Samuel has a fairly straightforward schedule and it's very predictable.  He naps twice A-day and he goes to bed every night at about 6:45 p.m. he sleeps until the next day at about 5:30 or 6:00 a.m.   Samuel does get fussy at times, especially when he wants to be held. He doesn't like gooey food so bananas, eggs...  all of those things bananas eggs all of those finger foods he doesn't really eat as much as he probably should at this point as much as he probably should at this point.  At his one year check up he weighed 21.9 pounds and was 30" long!

I finally fit in mynpre-pregnancy shorts!

2021 Beach Trip with the Boys!

This year Mom and I took the boys to Ocean City with a bit of a change: we stayed just outside of town in Selbyville, in Mallard Shores (or something like that, I forget the name). The unit was nice and very roomy. However, I did not like the fact that geese were everywhere. And we couldn't walk in the grass outside because of the rampant goose poop (which quite frankly grosses me out). However, we had a good time away together!  Mom was an amazing help with Samuel. She watched Samuel in the mornings while Liam and I went to the beach. In the afternoon, we would go to the pool or for a walk or somewhere else. We got dinner at a restaurant on the water (it has since closed... it was called the Atlantic Bayhouse or something). The dinner was good but the view was better. Especially because a storm was rapidly blowing in from the West! We liked that view.  Liam and I have developed a tradition of going to the beach at 120th street. That way we can walk to the Carousel for treats ...
