21 Weeks! April 15

Warm Vegetable Curry Salad

I haven't eaten vegetables in like a month or so... And seeing as how I'm growing a tiny human, I figured if better startup again. I found this recipe on Instagram and it looked DELICIOUS! So I put on my mask, went to Giant and grabbed some produce. It was fun to make, relatively easy, and really delicious.  INGREDIENTS olive oil spray 1 1/2   pounds   peeled and diced sweet potato ,  1/2-inch cubes (from 2 large or 3 small) 2   red bell peppers ,  cut 1-inch cubes 1   large red onion ,  quartered and halved 2   tablespoons   olive oil 1 1/2   tablespoons   apple cider vinegar 1   teaspoon   cumin 1   teaspoon   curry powder 4   cups   broccoli florets 1/2   teaspoon   kosher salt For the salad dressing: 2   tablespoons   olive oil 1 1/2   tablespoons   apple cider vinegar 1   tablespoon   honey 1   teaspoon   kosher salt 1   teaspoon   c...

23 Weeks!

And my belly through the weeks! ❤️

22 Weeks!

I am so thrilled to be 22 weeks pregnant!! Just a few weeks ago I didn't know if we'd make it this far. We only have two weeks to go to viability! 🙏🙏  Right now I don't have any cravings, but my nausea is completely gone, so my appetite is back. I literally gained three pounds last week... I definitely need to slow it down on the cookies. We've been home for the shutdown since March 13th, so having 24/7 access to my cookies and sweets has definitely NOT been helping my healthy pregnancy goals.  My subchorionic hemorrhage seems to have slowed down recently. I'm not cramping or as uncomfortable as I was a few weeks ago. I definitely feel like the daily magnesium helps, if I don't drink my natural calm in the morning I am sore by 1:00 or 2:00.  Samuel is still a very active baby! There are times that he kicks me so hard that it tickles and I laugh out loud. I tend to wake up every morning at about 2:30 to go to the bathroom, and some mornings he is so active, bou...

My meds, my experience and my faith 💗

I'm not the most eloquent writer but I want to record my experiences and the meds I am taking.  Meds and supplements to prevent a first time loss *Vitamin D due to my deficiency and like between low D and miscarriage * NO caffeine due to limited studies that show some people with caffeine sensitivity are prone to unexplained loss  *Magnesium, by drinking Natural Calm, every morning - recommended by Dr. Sheri Hamersley  *Progesterone 200 mg orally. I doubled up until 8 1/2 weeks to 400mg.  *Lovenox 40 mg every night due to recommendation from Dr Hamersley *Vitafol OB prenatal with iron added  *** Vitamin B6 and Unisom. I started this at around 8 weeks because of nausea.  Meds I changed and added because of sub-chorionic hemorrhage *After every major bleed I take extra progesterone in the morning.  * I had stopped the B6 at 13 weeks when my nausea subsided. I resumed it at 19 weeks to get to help my SCH heal  *I take additional magnesium to calm my ...

20 Weeks!

20 weeks, yes! Only four weeks to go until he's viable...  I'm going to try to note some things about my pregnancy right now:  -No cravings although I could eat Italian food all day long.  -I still can't handle chicken. It's so gross! The smell, blech.  -I have my appetite back! And my weight shows it... I gained three pounds in the last week! So far, 12 pounds.  -my belly feels right and sore by the evenings -Samuel is most active in the early mornings (3:30-6) and the evenings  -I am sleepless, just like I was with Liam. I've woken up at 3:30 a few days recently and just laid in bed, waiting for the world to wake up
